The 43 organizations that received the Fast Company/Monitor Group Social Capitalist Awards for 2007 have found a better way to do good: They’re using the disciplines of the corporate world to tackle daunting social problems. The Social Capitalist Awards define strong performance as a combination of both social impact and organizational effectiveness. This performance is represented by five critical components: Social Impact, Aspiration & Growth, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainability.
